FiveFold Test

About

The Five-Fold Ministry

“So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” — Ephesians 4:11–12

The Five-Fold Ministry gifts described in Ephesians 4 are not merely historical roles — they represent distinct vocational graces given by Christ to equip the church for its mission in every generation.

The Apostle is sent — a pioneer, a builder of foundations, one who carries the capacity to establish new expressions of the church where none exist. The Prophet discerns — attentive to spiritual realities, speaking what others cannot yet see, holding the community accountable to what God is saying.

The Evangelist reaches — compelled by the lostness of those outside the faith, gifted to cross relational and cultural thresholds with the gospel. The Shepherd protects — deeply attentive to the people in their care, present in suffering, patient in formation.

The Teacher grounds — devoted to the careful understanding of Scripture and doctrine, equipping the body to interpret, apply, and defend the faith.

Most people carry a primary and secondary gift — a combination that shapes how they naturally serve, lead, and contribute. This assessment is designed to help you identify that combination with care and precision.

About this assessment

The FiveFold Test contains 100 scenario-based questions developed across three contextual versions — church ministry, organizational leadership, and personal life. Questions are designed to reveal instinct and posture rather than stated preference.
